Your written quote will be sent to you via email, in most cases the same business day or by next business day, depending on varying factors around your move. 

Yes, a fixed price quote can be provided for moves that have been inspected. These quotes are valid for 1 month.

Yes, we can pop round to your house, for an inspection and provide you with a more accurate quote, also answering any questions you may have. As long as you’re located in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

Yes we do offer a FREE home inspection, for those living locally in Western Suburbs Melbourne. A home inspection offers several advantages for obtaining a more precise quote. Not only do you get a better understanding on how the move will go and who will be doing it. But we also get to gather all the information that we need.


Harris Movers holds Transit Insurance and Marine insurance as well as Truck Insurance. This means you items are covered while they are being loaded and unloaded, while its on its way to the new home and of course the truck itself should an accident occur.

Many insurers offer this type of cover however please read the fine print as some carry Stricker conditions for what in covered in what event.

Yes, We have short and long term storage options available at our warehouse in Ravenhall next to Caroline Springs. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Our storage costs are charged in 10 cubic meter volumes. When we gather your inventory list for your move we will know the amount of storage you will require. Our Storage fees are payable either, fortnightly, monthly or in one invoice together with your total move cost, depending on how you like to manage your budget.
